Changes to these terms
When a terms page changes, we record the passages that changed, word for word, and testing waits until a person has read the page again.
No changes since weekly reading began on 22 Oct 2026.
How we read the terms
- Each clause is quoted word for word from the provider’s own terms, with its number, the date we read it and a link. Where the terms say nothing on testing, we say so and quote the nearest clause.
- Open: nothing in the terms forbids testing the service or publishing results. Needs permission: they do, unless the provider agrees in writing; we ask, and test after a yes. Notice required: testing is allowed once the provider has had written notice.
- A program reads the terms and pricing pages every week, where a provider’s website terms and robots.txt allow it. Where they don’t, we read the pages by hand every month.
- Scores come only from plans we bought ourselves, and only where testing is allowed.
